Purchasing this house, was for a number of reasons, firstly, it's a house (freehold), semi-detached, has a large garden and it's own drive, placed in a quiet and safe cul-de-sac where all the neighbours look after one another. I like how bright and airy it is, sunlight from all directions. As a first-time buyer I also was looking at low energy bills and the economy-7 heating really appealed to me. I was planning to live here only for a couple of years, 13 years later I was still going.
I've made lots of improvements since I bought the property, changed the garden design, installed double-glazed windows and UPVC door, modernised the kitchen and bathroom too. Soon further heat insulation will be added and a new heating which will make those winter nights more cosy!
